Hold the Line! 2027-29 Contract Negotiations

silhouettes of people marching at a rally holding signs with text "Hold the line for a strong 2027-2029 contract"

During our last round of contract negotiations in the summer of 2024, state budget projections were down and our employers were offering just 1% over two years.

WFSE members refused to accept a bad deal and took action across the state, helping move stalled negotiations at a critical moment.

It took all of us just to hold the line, and nothing was guaranteed, but together we were able to secure a 5% general wage increase over two years and hundreds of job-class specific raises.

This round will be different.

With a new governor and a tougher budget, we may once again be fighting just to hold the line, and it will take all of us, alongside the communities we serve, to do it.
