WFSE CARE: Childcare Reimbursement
WFSE CARE (Childcare Assistance & Relief) is a member-only pilot program designed to provide direct financial support to WFSE members with childcare expenses.

WFSE CARE addresses one of the most significant cost pressures facing our members. The program reflects WFSE’s commitment to supporting working families, improving member economic stability, and strengthening recruitment and retention across the union.
AFLAC Insurance
AFLAC is supplemental insurance available to state employees through payroll deduction at a group discounted rate. AFLAC is not medical insurance, but insurance that pays cash benefits directly to the policyholder, over and above any other coverage that is currently in place. The employee decides how they will use that money.
BrightNow Dental
For over 45 years, Bright Now! Dental has been caring for Union Families. We are pleased to be partnering with them to offer WFSE/AFSCME members and their families exclusive savings for dental care when enrolled in the Uniform Dental Plan or on a cash basis. Bright Now! Legal Services - Younglove & Coker Law
In Olympia, the law firm of Younglove & Coker, PLLC offers a free one-half hour consultation to WFSE members on a variety of civil, criminal and administrative issues, excluding employment matters appropriate for handling by the WFSE. The firm also limits contingency fees to 30% and may offer discounted hourly rates to WFSE members for some services.
People's Memorial
Through a special arrangement with the People’s Memorial Association, dues-paying members of the Washington Federation of State Employees/AFSCME can get a discounted lifetime membership rate that gives them access to this new benefit. It helps members and their families avoid the confusion, sales pressure and high expense often associated with cremation and burial arrangements.
Public Safety Protection Program (PSPP)
WFSE/AFSCME Members Only Benefits now offers a legal defense program – Public Safety Protection Program – that is the same one offered by Washington FOP – but at half the price with added benefits – to our law enforcement members.
Purple Cross
Purple Cross provides funds to pay for all final expenses. Even simple funeral arrangements can cause financial hardship. Purple Cross plans are portable, so if you move, your policy will follow you. Beneficiaries of the policy can receive payment within 48 hours, helping families pay for services immediately. The funeral home involved does not need to wait for the money or look to your family members to pay the bill.

Sunrise Dental
Sunrise Dental has more than 50 locations across Washington and Oregon. Sunrise Dental provides cost-saving services to WFSE/AFSCME members and families in the Uniform Dental Plan, as well as educational classes and seminars at local meetings, conferences, lunch ‘n’ learns and other gatherings.

Real Estate Benefits Provider – Union Home Services
Union Home Services (UHS) is a union-represented company that provides real estate benefits to union members, their children and parents nationwide. As a union member, you and your immediate family can receive cash rebates on real estate transactions. Union Home Services was founded locally and is based in Bellevue, WA. The Washington State Labor Council (WSLC) and the 13-state AFL-CIO Western States Presidents Council has endorsed UHS.

WSECU Financial Wellness Program
Washington State Employees Credit Union provides a financial wellness program
for the benefit of members. This program is provided through an arrangement with the WFSE/AFSCME-founded financial institution.
