AWAAG Bargaining Update #8

We wish we had some good news to report to you today, but we don’t. We have concluded one urgent bargaining session, but we do not yet have a Tentative Agreement.

We have serious concerns about the state of our economic proposals. Despite Governor Ferguson’s history of running for office on his positive relationship with labor and his advocacy for the office in the past, he has abandoned any prior support for our work and assurances of economic stability.  

Despite this about-face, we continue to fight tooth and nail for you.

We will be meeting again on September 17th, and we hope that Bob will have heard the voice of reason by then. That would be your voice! The Bob-a-thon continues:
