Walkout for Washington - Virtual Options

Work Remote? Come to the Nearest Walkout

Many WFSE members work remotely. Some, like our Interpreters United (Local 1671) members, work all across the state without any fixed office location.

Our walkouts are about visibility, and attracting as much media attention as possible.

Our goal is to have as many remote workers RSVP to the nearest walkout to them by typing in their Zip Code on this page and meeting fellow members at the assembly area identified in the worksite RSVP link.

If attending an in-person walkout is not possible...

At 12pm on September 10, please use this Letter Campaign utilizing your PERSONAL email to send a message to the Governor and OFM.

You can also use this Teams background on 9/10 or in the lead-up to it and other items in our online toolkit.
Note: Before using the Walkout Teams background in a work-related call, please check your Employer or Agency's virtual background policy. Certain agencies limit the use of WFSE virtual backgrounds to representational duties, and alternate backgrounds my be restricted in meetings with external organizations or clients.
