Negotiation of the 2025-2027 Tentative Agreement between the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE) and the Washington State University has concluded!

The tentative agreement for the 2025-2027 WSU contract achieves several major goals identified as priorities by the membership: 

• Despite incredibly challenging budget projections, the contract secures general wage increases of 3% in 2025 and 2% in 2026.
• Night shift differential increased to $2.50/hr. or $435/month.
• Preserved the ability of dining bargaining unit members to have flexible parking permits.
• Preserved Lot 190 “cattle feeding parking lot” to remain “blue” coded through the entire next contract.
• Leave bank allowances expanded to 280 hours from 240-hour limit.
• Plus many non-economic improvements such as more inclusive language and a more collaborative new employee orientation process. See full tentative agreement for details!
