Message from WSU Bargaining Team
Negotiation of the 2025-2027 Tentative Agreement between the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE) and the Washington State University has concluded!
The tentative agreement for the 2025-2027 WSU contract achieves several major goals identified as priorities by the membership:
- Despite incredibly challenging budget projections, the contract secures general wage increases of 3% in 2025 and 2% in 2026.
- Night shift differential increased to $2.50/hr. or $435/month.
- Preserved the ability of dining bargaining unit members to have flexible parking permits.
- Preserved Lot 190 “cattle feeding parking lot” to remain “blue” coded through the entire next contract.
- Leave bank allowances expanded to 280 hours from 240-hour limit.
- Plus many non-economic improvements such as more inclusive language and a more collaborative new employee orientation process. See full tentative agreement for details!
Because of these achievements, your WSU Bargaining Team recommends that you vote YES to ACCEPT this Agreement!
