Local delegates, executive board members, and member of PEOPLE, our union's political action fund, came together on April 27 to decide which candidates our union endorses in a critical 2024 election season.

From October 6-8, 2023, WFSE will hold our 50th Biennial Convention at the DoubleTree Hotel in Seatac, WA. As this convention coincides with the 80th year of our union, WFSE Executive Committee determined the theme for this year’s convention to be History Built, Future Bound.

AFSCME members in Hawaii urgently need our help.

Please donate to our union’s Fallen Heroes Fund so we can send help to members affected by the wildfires in Hawaii, particularly those in the island of Maui.

AFSCME nurses from affiliates with tens of thousands of members in the health care sector met with U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra this month to share their concerns about the nationwide staffing crisis that is putting health care workers and patients at risk.
