After years of financial mismanagement with no sign of improvement, WFSE Members at the Seattle College District (Local 304) have called for a Vote of No Confidence in our Chancellor, Rosie-Rimando Chareunsap.

Read here for more information on Local 304's last call for accountability at the Seattle Colleges.

The Seattle Colleges have employed cost-cutting measures for years, slashing the workforce at the Colleges and harming the students who rely on the services we provide. However, financial mismanagement at the highest levels has left the Seattle Colleges in a greater deficit than in prior years.

Leadership at the colleges has refused transparency and will not tell us how this massive debt happened.

That's why Local 304 is calling a vote of no confidence against the Chancellor.

WFSE workers at SCD call for removing their Chancellor.

Once we reach 66 percent of the Seattle College WFSE membership, we will present this petition to Governor Ferguson and urge that he remove our Chancellor.

Local 304 is holding this vote because we believe the students, workers, and communities who rely on the services we provide shouldn't suffer because of management's poor financial decisions.

Frontline staff are done doing more with less while upper management hides their irresponsible spending decisions from public scrutiny. We no longer have faith that Chancellor Rimando-Chareunsap can better our colleges. Removing her is necessary to help financially rebuild the Seattle Colleges.
