Welcome to Conservation Districts United.

Interested in learning how working together as a staff can improve conditions and outcomes at conservation districts? Drop us a line and we'll be in touch.

Did you know that staff at King and Thurston Conservation Districts have worked together to form unions?

At KCD, staff collectively bargained their first contract and secured higher wages, better overtime, clear grievance procedures, and more. Unionizing gives CD staff a voice at work. Learn more about KCD's first contract wins here.

About WFSE: For over 75 years, public sector employees have organized together in our union for better working conditions, higher wages, affordable healthcare, and strong pensions. Over the years, our members have worked together to ensure that critical social, community, and conservation services are expanded.

WFSE is home to many of the peers we work with in the community, including staff in the Department of Ecology. With nearly 47,000 bargaining unit members, we have the power to move the legislature to fund the services and efforts we need. Let's talk!
