Contract Bargaining Begins at Washington State University
Contract Bargaining Begins at Washington State University
Another round of bargaining is set to begin at Washington State University as team members prepare to build upon the significant gains we made in our current contract.
Bargaining team members met on May 28 to review our current 2025-2027 contract, review the bargaining process, and train for negotiations to come. In the coming weeks the bargaining team will look at submitted proposals and further strategize for bargaining sessions that begin June 17.
What can you do to help us win at the bargaining table?
Get active! Become a member. Show your solidarity by wearing WFSE green or your AFSCME gear on bargaining days. Keep informed by following regular updates from the bargaining team. Pay attention to your emails in the coming weeks as we are planning an event to hand out WFSE shirts, buttons, stickers, signs, etc.
Our ability to make gains in bargaining is directly tied to the involvement of our membership and we need to hear from you. Soon we will share a survey to find out more about your priorities for a new contract. Please fill it out and encourage other members to do so. The more we hear from members the stronger our proposals at the table will be!
In solidarity,
The WSU Bargaining Team
