Bargaining Survey Updates
Thank you to everyone who has filled out the bargaining survey so far! Bargaining survey answers will help guide us during negotiations.

The bargaining survey closes on June 30. Only responses from dues-paying members will be considered for contract negotiations. To join our union, click here.
These are the topics of highest priority for your contract according to the survey (in no particular order):
· Pay increases
· Affordable healthcare
· Expanded paid time off
· Compensatory time and cash out
· Performance issues/management accountability
· Caseload/workload/staffing
· Training/continuing education/tuition reimbursement
· Hazard pay
Make a Difference: Tell Your Story
We all know that low pay, short staffing, and unsafe conditions affect our students, patients, and everyone who visits the campuses we serve.
But often, the greater public doesn't know, and management turns a blind eye or assumes we can continue shouldering these burdens.
Share your personal story so we can put a human face to the demands your bargaining team is making at the negotiations table.

Upcoming Events
We have solidarity events coming up at several University of Washington locations. We need you to show up, bring your coworkers, and show management that we are united, fighting for a fair contract together across campuses.
Currently scheduled events:
June 26, 11 AM-1 PM at UW Medical Center – Montlake: Lunch and Learn
July 25, 2026: Local 1495 BBQ
August 6, 11:30 AM-1:30 PM: All Hands BBQ at UW Main Campus. Come hand out flyers and swag!
