On April 21 your SSSSU Bargaining team met with management for the first day of negotiations for your 2027-2029 contract. We hit the ground running to address workplace retaliation, more transparent hiring practices, protections from discrimination and AI, protections from discrimination and other issues with working conditions.

Please fill out the survey to indicate what you think should be the priorities for the Bargaining Team at the table. Your answers will help us craft our proposals and apply pressure to management as negotiations continue. We want to hear from as many people as possible, so please share the link to the survey with your TESC SSSSU co-workers and encourage them to become full members of the Union. 

Our next bargaining session is May 19th.  Please wear WFSE green that day or reach out to a team member for a button, sticker, sign, or other Union gear, including shirts.

What can you do?

When negotiations slowed and stalled during our last round of negotiations, it was your voices that pushed management to return to the table with better offers. We have to show up in full force if we want to make that happen again.

The Bargaining Team for WFSE Classified staff at The Evergreen State College met with college management at the table for the first time on April 16 and put across a record 18 proposals for consideration. In the weeks to come we will continue to bargain over these proposals to win the best contract possible for 2027-2029. But we need your help to make important gains!
