SPSCC Exempt Bargaining Update #4 - May 6, 2025
Your SPSCC Exempt Bargaining Team met with management for the fourth time on May 6, 2025. It looks like we have a tentative deal, but it may be a week or more before we can get you the final documents.
As to what we can report right now, it’s good news. While we are still waiting for a final agreement to send to you all for a vote, we feel confident in letting you know that EVERYONE will be seeing significant financial increases to their salaries on July 1, 2025!
Not only were there no takeaways, we also won several other notable improvements to your working conditions beyond just compensation.
Your bargaining team has done an awesome job so far, but this is an interactive process that cannot happen without you. Once we have a Tentative Agreement, it is up to you all to vote to ratify the contract. You MUST be a union member to vote.
Workers across the country at places like Starbucks and Amazon are risking their jobs and livelihoods for the right to collectively bargain a contract with their employer, and to have a say over what goes on in their workplace. You already have that right, so make sure to take advantage of it. You can join WFSE by clicking here!
We hope to have polls open the week of May 19th, and we’re planning on holding a lunch hour meeting to answer any questions you may have before the polls close. Look for more communication from us in a week or so.
As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
