RTC Bargaining Update #2 - May 1, 2025
Your RTC Bargaining Team met with management on April 25th for our third bargaining session, and it was a full and productive day at the table. We’re excited to share that we reached several Tentative Agreements (TAs), marking real progress in this round of negotiations.
So far, we’ve secured agreements on multiple non-compensation topics that support fairness, transparency, and clear expectations in the workplace. These include updates to processes around work assignments, evaluation, and absence reporting. Each of these wins strengthens the foundation of your contract and ensures more equitable and consistent working conditions.
Other key items under active discussion include an updated telework article, health and welfare benefits, paid family and medical leave, and salary enhancements. Your Bargaining Team is working hard to make sure these policies reflect your voices, your needs, and the changing landscape of our work.
Our next bargaining sessions are scheduled for:
- May 14, 2025
- May 19, 2025
- May 22, 2025
These next sessions will be critical, with compensation remaining a central focus. We need your continued support! Wearing your union gear, showing up at member meetings, and staying connected all make a difference and help build momentum at the table.
As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or thoughts. We’re here to represent you - and we’re strongest when we stand together.
In Solidarity,
Lisa Marie Carper
