Meet your Community College Coalition bargaining team!

Your elected bargaining team is beginning the work to secure us a 2027-2029 collective bargaining agreement (CBA) that reflects our values as a union and honors your work as public employees. We're proud to represent you at the bargaining table—and we need you with us!
Preparation for a fair contract
We met on February 25 and 26 for our bargaining team training, and we'll be meeting again in March to review the proposals you have submitted and prepare for our first meeting with management in April.
We have all seen the news about the budget being debated in the legislature. We're facing another extremely challenging fiscal situation. However, if we stand united, we will secure the best possible contract.
All hands on deck
Winning a strong contract requires our full collective strength as a union. That means we all need to pitch in and make sure our voices are heard. When negotiations slowed and stalled during our last round of negotiations, it was your voices that pushed management to return to the table with better offers. We have to show up in full force if we want to make that happen again.
Here's how you can engage right now:
- Stay in touch with additional actions you can take to fund public services.
- Make sure we have your current contact info so we can keep you informed about bargaining as the process develops.
- Join today. Not a member yet? Joining our union is one of the most powerful things you can do to get engaged and make sure our voices are heard at the bargaining table.
- Connect with coworkers. Already a member? If you have committed to our union, talk to your coworkers about why it's important. Encourage them to join and build more power for public employees in Washington.
Stay tuned for future updates and more ways to become involved.
