AWAAG bargaining update #7

Though we have made some gains on non-economic language, we spent another tough day at the table. We held everyone’s feet to the fire about the importance of our economic proposals – especially the governor’s. To put it lightly, no words were minced.

However, it’s clear that we are facing an uphill battle on compensation. We have only one scheduled bargaining session left! We need you to help get the point across that your service to the citizens of Washington is worth the investment. It’s time to Walkout With Washington! It is vital that we all participate on August 31st. Clearly, we need to get their attention in a way that can’t be dismissed.
