AWAAG Bargaining Team Update 05-14-2026

Hello AWAAG!

Today marks our contract bargaining kick-off.  The communication at the table was cordial, and we feel like we are starting these efforts from a collaborative place.  We were able to take forward some initial proposals related to safety, resources, and working conditions to improve your work experience. 

Both sides realize we’ll be putting in a lot of hard work over the next few months, and your team continues to work on the issues you have raised up.  Please keep your eyes peeled for a survey from us in the near future. We will need to hear from you about your priorities as we progress.
