ABHS Bargaining Update #2

On May 14th, your ABHS bargaining team met with management for our first bargaining session for our 2026 Compensation Re-opener.Present were WFSE members on your bargaining team and ABHS management.

We emphasized the inequities that exist with the current wage system and the need for guaranteed raises over the course of your career at ABHS. Your team also stressed the importance of a permanent workforce, and the negative impact turnover has on our members and clients.

What’s Next?

In our next sessions, on May 19th, and May 20th,   we will continue bargaining compensation.

We need your engagement now more than ever! Please show your solidarity and your support for a strong contract by wearing your WFSE green Tuesday May 19th and Wednesday May 20th! Talk to a steward or bargaining team member to learn more!

Attend your Local Union Meetings!

Every second Monday at 6pm, your WFSE Local, 2824, meets to discuss issues affecting ABHS members and their workplaces. If you are able, please attend the next Local meeting on June 8th at 6pm. Here is the Zoom link to attend!
