ABHS Bargaining Update #1 - April 23, 2025
On April 17th and 18th, your ABHS bargaining team attended comprehensive training and reviewed all of the proposal you submitted in preparation for our upcoming bargaining sessions.
Your union contract will determine:
- Your pay
- Your working conditions
- How much time off you have to spend with family and friends
- And much more!

On April 22nd, we met with ABHS management to discuss employee health benefits.
First and foremost, your team emphasized our goal of improving benefits for the hard working employees of ABHS – you! And that goal was achieved:
- Increased employer contribution levels toward all health plans
- Maintained dental, vision, and EAP benefits
- Added new flexible spending account options for health and dependent care
- Improved access to educational resources during open enrollment
What’s Next?
We will be returning to the bargaining table on May 15th, where we will begin negotiations over all other areas covered by the contract.
