Our Most Productive Session Yet: One Article TA’d | CCC Bargaining Update #9 (cloned)

We are in the critical final stretch of bargaining for your union contract.
See below for today's great Call Bob-a-Thon—let's flood the governor's phone!
Yesterday, your elected CCC bargaining team met with managment.
We've made some progress and TA'd a few more articles. This progress is meaningful, and we've reached some language that will help our union siblings. But this progress in not enough to balance zero raises—and we need you to know that the needle has not moved on economics.
They're still fighting us on even very simple non-economic proposals that would help our members. It's exhausting.

At the same time, our team is encouraged and grateful for your amazing turnout at the walkouts this Monday. Your turnout was incredible, and it made an impact.
To put it mildly, the walkouts worked.

Our walkouts generated significant media attention, with an estimated 8 million learning about our walkouts on TV, radio, print, and online.
This is what we’re supposed to do in years where the economics don’t look great.
As of now, due to movement at the GG table, the tentative rally 9/5 in Olympia may not take place.
We do, however, need to get loud one last time to get as much out of the state as possible.
That's where the great 2026 Call Bob-a-thon comes in!
Join any time today, Thursday, September 3, for a phone-call storm targeting the governor’s office to keep maximum pressure on the administration while bargaining is live.
Thank you for everything you do, from your work supporting students and communities across our state to getting loud to demand a fair contract.
