On this page you can find resources, flyers, and information for hosting a rally for our Washington For All: Day of Action on April 9. Find the Facebook event here and our open letter here.
Check the main event page for events in your area. If you don't have any, you can host one yourself! Invite (or recruit, if they're willing to help organize) your coworkers, stewards, member action team, or even other unions and people you know. All you need is your one hour lunch break, a few people, and maybe some signs and chants. Make sure not to use work time, equipment, or resources for putting this together, and talk with a steward, council rep, the Member Connections Center, or us if you have questions.
Email us to let us know when and where your event is - and if a local is sponsoring it as well. We'll add it to our main event page, the Facebook event, and share it with others who may be able to help out or attend.
You can go wave signs along the road outside your office, walk through your neighborhood, or even host a larger rally with multiple unions and worksites participating. Make sure to post your photos and videos on social media using #WashingtonForAll, or send them to [email protected].
Find satellite rally flyers and some signs here. Find more at the bottom of the page (credit for these goes to big WFSE)!
Not sure what your options are for signs? Check with your local or ask your council rep or the MCC.
