TESC Classified Bargaining Update #4 - August 6, 2024

We introduced our economic proposals in today’s bargaining session. Your bargaining team took your feedback and priorities to heart, and brought forward a creative and multi-faceted package that addresses several key issues including:

  • Pushing hard for a living wage
  • Taking steps to strengthen employee retention
  • Preserving and strengthening your leave
  • Protecting against clawbacks

Though we have been made aware of the economic difficulties we are competing with, we will continue to push forward and fight to put you front and center as a priority.
This will not be an easy process, and your team will need you to take action to support their efforts.

You can start here – tell us your story:

You can also send a text to reach the Governor’s office and let him know why a living wage is so important to you: Text UNITED to 237263

We are back at the table soon, and we expect to receive Management’s response to our economic (and other) proposals.

In Solidarity,

Your TESC Classified Bargaining Team
