Katie Kadwell, she/they, is a cis, pan white woman who loves nothing more than digging in the earth, being outside, planting, and moving with the rhythms of the natural world. Katie is a Gardener Lead at University of Washington, a shop steward, and is honored to serve as Secretary of Local 1495. A lifelong activist, she has done everything from marching and civil disobedience to writing postcards, making phone calls, and ballot curing for her favorite candidates. In addition to gardening and being outdoors, Katie loves making art, walking with friends and family, dancing, and laughing with her kids.
