My name is Lupe Reyes, and I am the Secretary for our Local Union 1326. I have been a union member since 2015 when I first started with the state. I have proudly been an active member when I attended my first union meeting back when it was held at Shari’s. The pie is what drew me in, but the need is what kept me coming back. I have worked in the private sector like many of our brothers and sisters and have experienced what it is like without a Union to back you up and help better understand your rights. My goal is to help educate and provide the compassion to all our fellow state workers. I have lived in Washington state the majority of my life ever since my parents brought me here as a child. I have loved Washington for all the beauty and opportunities it provides to those who have the drive to succeed and improve their lives and the lives of those around them. I am proud to be a Union Member of Local 1326 and truly believe that United We Are Strong!
