More than 1,100 turn out to oppose awful “right to work for less” bill
Feb 08, 2017
2/8/17 More than 1,100 working women and men packed the halls of the Senate Wednesday (Feb. 8) to speak up and speak out against a bill to strip away all workers’ rights to join together for competitive wages and to make a difference for our communities. This is just not the way we roll in Washington state. After all, we’re not Wisconsin.
After a rally outside the hearing room, the united group of workers from scores of public and private-sector unions packed the hearing room, plus overflow rooms and the Senate gallery.
Their message was simple: There is nothing right about “right to work.”
OPPOSE RTW in WA state. That's the message. RTW is about power. Not rights.
Senate Democrats: Hundreds of workers come to the Capitol to advocate their REAL right to work & oppose Senate GOP bills that undermine wages.
The inn is full. Overflow to Senate gallery. oppose RTW in WAState
