The EWU classified bargaining team completed its third session with management on Wednesday, June 5th.
Our team is fully engaged in the process and committed to making improvements on behalf of our coworkers.
So far we have only addressed non-economic portions of the contract and have made decent progress on those items.
Still, our team and the employer’s team remain far apart on a number of key issues. Through good faith exchanges and incisive questioning of the university’s representatives, our team is driving home our members’ priorities.
We remain committed to winning a contract that ensures fairness and equity for the hard-working employees who make EWU work every day.
