It's not too late to fill out our bargaining survey. Your elected bargaining team needs to know what matters most to you.
Bargaining is moving forward, thanks to your dedicated and persistent team. Today our team met with management to continue reviewing proposals and counter-proposals.
The process has been frustrating, but today was definitely productive. We are closer to reaching tentative agreement on numerous articles. Management has been pushing back on our proposals, often without substantive reasons why, but we know how much this contract will affect our members' lives, so we are holding firm.

What We're Fighting For
We are pushing for leave policies that best serve CCC employees. We're advocating for the training and development opportunities our members deserve, and working on language granting flexible rest periods so we can care for our health. We're working for clear, unambiguous language throughout the contract so it is as useful as possible to us in future years.
As bargaining team member Sandy Long said in her video update after today, "bargaining is painstaking work." We're proud to be serving as your elected team and we remain focused on winning the best contract we can.

Get Involved for a Fair Contract!
Our success at the table depends on our collective engagement with the campaign. Here's what you can do to help:
- Complete the bargaining survey by June 28 so we know what you want us to fight for.
- Submit a photo and quote about why you need a strong contract. This will encourage other members to engage as well!
- Know any coworkers who aren't members yet? Encourage them to join so they can vote on our new contract when it's time.
- Download the contract campaign toolkit and use the signs, Zoom/Teams backgrounds, and social media profile pics to bring attention to bargaining.
- Stay connected and in the loop with the contract campaign website.
In solidarity,
