Hello AWAAG,
It’s your Bargaining Team here, with an update from today’s negotiation session.
We have continued to take steps forward on your behalf, strengthening rights and resources for you. When it comes to economics, there has been incremental movement towards a compromise, but there is still a serious gap to bridge.
We will be back at the table on September 17th, and between now and then, we will need YOU.
We will need you to share your experiences and use your voice. We will be asking each of you to take part in writing a letter to the Attorney General to let him know your priorities. We have a convenient link to participate posted below, however we strongly encourage you to be prepared to add your own stories, and want you to share what economic advances would mean to you and your loved ones.
Click here to sign the letter to Attorney General Bob Ferguson.
We have also sent this link out via email, so please check your inbox!
We truly appreciate all the feedback and support you have sent our way, we have reviewed all of your survey rankings and comments, and we are taking all of it to heart at the table. You may not see all of the economic proposals from the survey reflected in the letter, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t still working on them!
However, with the limited time remaining, we’re specifically asking for your help on two areas of great importance to our members where management and your bargaining team remain farthest apart. This is going to be a difficult revenue year, but we continue to fight for you.
Please help us move the needle by taking action! We are stronger together.
