Join the “Governor Walks for SmartHealth” event July 12; be one of the first 100
Jul 07, 2017
You can take a step toward living well by joining Gov. Jay Inslee for a SmartHealth walk at noon, next Wednesday, July 12, starting at the Capitol building steps in Olympia.
The first 100 attendees who arrive at the Capitol steps will receive stainless steel SmartHealth water bottles.
This is a great opportunity for Federation members to attend in person and earn points toward their $125 SmartHealth wellness incentive.
Take time to join the governor, earn SmartHealth wellness points and even say “thanks” for the leadership role the governor played on not only wellness but pushing and prodding legislators to get a budget done that funded education, public services and our negotiated contracts.
Use the “Governor walks for SmartHealth” ready to use toolkit from the Washington Wellness SmartHealth webpage https://www.hca.wa.gov/about-hca/washington-wellness/smarthealth to promote this event. A flyer and message is ready for you to use at https://www.hca.wa.gov/assets/program/smarth-2017govwalk.pdf
