Caucuses are important platforms for union members to address issues that affect our communities. Caucuses serve as an entry point for taking full advantage of all that union membership has to offer. You'll find additional opportunities to exercise your voice and connect with like-minded state employees.

Since 2005, the Conservative Caucus is part of the union's successful political action program. The Caucus was formed to create an inclusive environment for the union?s conservative members.
An AFSCME poll indicates 46% of AFSCME members identify as conservative.
Conservative Caucus members participate in the union's political process by supporting candidates that support "Lunch Box Issues."
