Concerning private case management of child welfare services (SB 6407)
3/6/18 The Senate concurred with SB 6407 that among other things repeals the pilot project contracting out of Child Welfare Services in demonstration sites that was to begin in December 2019. The Senate concurrence vote was 49-0. It originally passed the Senate 47-0 and the House 97-0. SB 6407 was requested by the Department of Social and Health Services. It now goes to Gov. Jay Inslee for his signature into law.
3/2/18 . Passed House 3rd Reading. On way to Governor.
2/26/18 SB 6407 is now in House Rules. It must pass a vote of the House by Mar 3.
2/12/18 Passed Senate 47-0-2
